Angur Baba Joshi is a Nepalese social activist and the first women principal in Nepal. She was born in 1932 August 15 at Dilli Bazar as a daughter of father, Late Mr. Pitamber Prasad Panth, and Mother, Late Mrs. Deep Kumari Panth.

Married life
Those were the days of early marriages, and Joshi was married at the age of 11 to late Prof Dr Bal Ram Joshi, who was just 12 then. She has one son and two daughters named Kiran (Son), Prava and Jyoti (Daughters).
Education field
After returning from England, she started her career as principal in Padma Kanya College, the first woman's college of Nepal, from 1953 AD to 1973 B.S. She is in fact, the first woman in Nepal to work as a principal.
